General Dynamics Mission Systems Canada (GDMS-C) is one of the country’s most innovative defence and security technology companies, providing advanced thinking, design and development to equip military forces with leading-edge hardware, software and systems to meet operational requirements. Always cognizant of the need to give back, GDMS-C has contributed more than $2 million dollars to an array of charitable and community endeavours over the past 10 years.
At GDMS-C, we feel a special sense of responsibility to members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), veterans, and their families and want to ensure that when Canadian soldiers leave the battlefield, they make it all the way home.
Part of that commitment is our contribution to the work of CIMVHR. Providing $500,000 over three years, this contribution will fuel research into the understanding, diagnosis, treatment and prevention of operational stress injuries (OSIs) and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) enhancing the lives of CAF members, veterans, their families and their communities.
